Mount Emeishan is one of the most well-known mountains of Buddhism in China. It's also notable for its exceptionally diverse vegetation, ranging from subtropical to sub-alpine pine forests. In Buddhists’ eyes, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva chose Emeishan Mountain as his ritual place to salvage suffering creatures. Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, that is Puxian in Chinese, is the symbol of truth and behavior morality. Mt.Emeishan, together with Leshan Giant Buddha, were included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage list in 1996.
