Kangding Love Song, Tagong Grassland & Red Stone Park 3-Day Trip

"Tagong" means "place favored by Bodhisattva" in Tibetan. Legend has it that princess Wencheng was passing through this place when she went to Tibet, a Buddha statue of Sakyamuni, taken with her, suddenly spoke and indicated that he would like to stay here . They immediately made a copy of the Buddha statue on the spot in accordance with the original Buddha. Hence the name Tagong grassland. Since then, Tagong Temple has been known as the "small Jokhang temple".
